About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 11Lead Business Intelligence EngineerWork directly with senior stakeholders across technology and business to shape how data is used in the organization. You will take ownership of a cloud based data platform and drive its next stage of growth. This role is about building solutions that are actually used and making data a core part of decision making.   The Team:We are a Business Intelligence team focused on turning complex data into clear and actionable insights. Your work will directly support business growth by enabling faster and better informed decisions.   What's in it for you: • Professional Growth: You’ll have the opportunity to join a high-performing team, growing your technical skills, and contribute to strategic decisions • Global Exposure: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different geographies, gaining exposure to diverse perspectives and markets • Innovation: Shape the future of data integration by working on cutting-edge technologies and solving complex challenges   Responsibilities: • Design and lead the development of scalable data solutions that deliver reliable and actionable insights across the organization • Drive the evolution of the data model to ensure it supports both current and future business needs • Architect and oversee data pipelines that efficiently ingest, transform, and serve data for analytical use cases • Define and drive best practices in data modeling, data quality, and performance optimization across the BI platform • Develop and optimize semantic layers that enable self-service analytics and consistent reporting • Guide the design of dashboards and analytical products to ensure clarity, usability, and business relevance • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to align data solutions with strategic goals • Identify opportunities to enhance the platform with advanced analytics and AI where it adds real value   What we are looking for: • Strong experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or similar roles, with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end automated data solutions. • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with "AI-ready" data. You know what it takes to feed AI models for automated reporting, including managing high-quality metadata, writing excellent field descriptions, and defining clear, robust relationships between tables. • Proven experience designing scalable data models and building production-grade data platforms using the Medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold) • Advanced SQL skills and confidence working with large and complex datasets. • Hands-on experience with modern data warehouses, ideally BigQuery. • Experience building, automating, and maintaining ETL or ELT pipelines in production environments. • Experience with data transformation tools such as dbt or Dataform. • Experience working with orchestration tools. • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or similar. • Solid understanding of cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • A degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work directly with other engineering teams to onboard data, as well as technical and business stakeholders. What’s In It For You?
