**ob Title: Senior Power BI Developer / BI Architect**?? **Role Overview** We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Power BI Developer / BI Architect** to design, develop, and manage end-to-end business intelligence solutions. The role requires deep expertise in **data modeling, DAX, Power Query, semantic modeling, and integration with diverse data sources including SQL and APIs**. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building **scalable, secure, and high-performance Power BI solutions** aligned with enterprise data architecture principles. ? **Key Responsibilities**?? **Data Modeling & Semantic Layer** - Design and implement **optimized data models** (star schema, snowflake, hybrid models) - Manage **relationships and cardinalities** (one-to-many, many-to-many, bidirectional filtering) - Build and maintain **enterprise semantic models** - Leverage **Power BI Dataflows** for reusable transformation layers - Ensure consistency across reports using **centralized datasets** ?? **Power BI Development** - Develop **interactive dashboards and reports** using Power BI - Implement advanced visualizations: - Scatter / heatmap visuals - KPI dashboards - Custom visuals using SVG techniques - Optimize report performance for large datasets ?? **DAX & Power Query (M) Expertise** - Develop complex **DAX measures and calculated columns** - Context transition, CALCULATE, FILTER, iterators (SUMX, etc.) - Time intelligence and dynamic calculations - Build efficient data transformation logic using **Power Query (M)** - Ensure optimal **query folding and performance tuning** ?? **Row-Level Security (RLS) & Governance** - Design and implement **dynamic and static RLS** - Manage **security roles and access control** - Ensure compliance with **data governance standards** - Monitor dataset refresh and performance ?? **Data Integration (SQL, APIs, JSON)** - Work with **SQL as primary data source** - Write complex queries - Create and optimize **views for reporting** - Integrate **REST APIs** as data sources - Handle: - JSON parsing (nested structures) - Pagination and dynamic parameters - API authentication (tokens, headers) R R**equired Skills** ?? Core Technical Skills - Power BI Desktop & Service - Advanced **DAX** - Power Query (M Language) - Data Modeling (cardinality, relationships, optimization) - SQL (advanced querying, view creation) ?? Advanced Skills (Mandatory for this role) - Strong understanding of **semantic modeling using Dataflows** - Expertise in **RLS implementation** - Handling **API data sources and JSON transformation** - Performance optimization and scalability ? **Experience** - 5–10+ years in BI / Data Analytics - Proven experience in **enterprise-level Power BI implementations** - Experience working in **complex, multi-source data environments**
