LNT/-LFA/1769745 - LTPO-L&T Energy-CarbonLite Solutions - Hazira Mfg Complex - Posted On 03 Jul 2026 - End Date 30 Dec 2026 - Required Experience 18 - 20 years ## **Skills** #### **Knowledge & Posting Location** Operational Acceptance Senior Executive Leadership Analyst Briefings Regulatory Audits Communication Ethics Document Creation #### **Minimum Qualification** Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management (PGDISEM)Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety (PGDIS)Post Graduate Diploma In Health, Safety and Environment (PGDHSE) ## **Job Description** - To lead and drive the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) function across the turbine manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, implementation of corporate EHS standards, and fostering a proactive safety culture with zero harm objective. - Develop and implement EHS system aligned with organizational goals and “Zero Harm” vision. - Drive compliance with national/state statutory regulations (Factories Act, Pollution Control Board norms, hazardous waste rules, etc.). - Ensure alignment with ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001). - Establish EHS KPIs, targets, and monitoring frameworks. - Implement and monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW), LOTO, Work at Height, Confined Space, and Material Handling safety systems. - Ensure safe operations for critical turbine manufacturing processes such as: - Heavy lifting (EOT cranes, slinging) - Machining and fabrication activities - Heat treatment, shot blasting and other critical processes - Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments (HIRA/JSA). - Drive closure of observations from audits, SHEILD systems, and inspections. - Lead investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions using RCA methodologies. - Ensure reporting of incidents to statutory authorities and corporate management. - Develop and track CAPA for effectiveness. - Maintain legal registers and ensure 100% compliance. - Ensure compliance with environmental regulations (air, water, waste management). - Drive initiatives such as: - Energy efficiency improvement - Emission reduction - Water conservation and reuse (STP/ETP) - Hazardous waste & recycling programs - Monitor environmental performance metrics and reporting (ESG). - Manage contractor safety management training, compliance, and performance monitoring. - Promote safety initiatives such as: BBS (Behaviour-Based Safety), Safety campaigns, toolbox talks, mock drills - Drive employee engagement programs (Pause Cards, observation systems) - Prepare and present EHS reports to senior management and corporate teams. - Track EHS performance (LTI, near miss, audit scores, leading indicators). - Lead EHS reviews and management walkthroughs
