ROLE PROFILE: As part of our engineering team, you will lead design, build, and improve backend services using C# and .NET technologies within a fully AWS-based cloud environment. This role focuses on hands-on development, contributing to team decisions, and taking ownership of delivering reliable, scalable software. You will work independently while collaborating with peers to improve system performance, reliability, and modern cloud engineering practices.   ROLE SUMMARY: We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong C# and .NET expertise to build and support backend systems running on AWS cloud platforms. You will develop secure, scalable applications using Cloud services and contribute to improving system reliability, delivery speed, and team knowledge. This role plays an important part in building and operating cloud-native, event-driven applications at scale. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: • Lead design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET • Build and integrate RESTful APIs including apply secure coding, testing, and deployment practices • Develop and support applications in a fully AWS-based environment • Work with container-based platforms (such as Kubernetes or Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS)) • Build event-driven solutions using messaging services • Manage cloud storage for data and file management • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) • Guide and contribute technical decisions through code reviews and mentoring of team members • Take ownership of features to ensure quality, reliability, and performance WHAT YOU'LL BRING:  Essential skills and experience: • Demonstrated ability to lead the design and building of scalable backend systems, with strong experience in Cloud technologies. • Strong experience with:• C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core) • Designing, building and working with APIs • Working with Managed Databases (for example, Aurora PostgreSQL or similar relational databases) • Good understanding of core Cloud concepts, including security, networking, scalability, and high availability • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services, such as:• Compute and container platforms (for example, EC2, Lambda, ECS, or Kubernetes-based environments) • Storage solutions (for example, S3 or similar) • Messaging services (for example, SNS, SQS) • Monitoring and logging tools (for example, Cloud Watch) • Experience working with container-based deployments (for example, Docker) • Experience using GitLab or similar tools for CI/CD • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively in Agile teams • Clear communication and collaboration skills Desirable skills (nice to have): • Exposure to microservices architecture • Experience improving system observability and monitoring • Understanding of application performance, scalability, and optimization in distributed systems   WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN:  • Opportunity to work on high-impact with Cloud-native systems at global scale • A collaborative environment that supports learning and continuous improvement • Opportunities to grow your technical and cloud expertise • The chance to contribute to meaningful work that supports global financial markets We're proud to have been recognised as a Great Place to Work® in India ‘25.
