ROLE PROFILE: As part of our engineering team, you will contribute to building and improving modern web applications that support key business platforms. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, helping to improve user experience while supporting the evolution of our applications toward more modern and scalable technologies. ROLE SUMMARY: We are looking for Lead Software Engineer with strong frontend expertise to design, build and improve user-facing web applications. This role involves hands-on development, technical leadership, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will play a key role in enhancing application quality while supporting the modernization of our platforms toward cloud-ready environments. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: • Lead design, develop and maintain scalable and user-friendly web applications using Angular • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate application interfaces (APIs) • Guide and contribute technical decisions through code reviews and mentoring of team members • Improve application performance, accessibility, and usability • Contribute to backend development using Node.js and related technologies • Support the modernization of existing applications, including evolving toward scalable and Cloud solutions • Work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver features in an Agile environment • Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure reliable system performance WHAT YOU'LL BRING:  Essential skills and experience: • 10+ years of experience in software development, especially front-end technologies • Strong experience in:• Angular • TypeScript and JavaScript • Node.js • RESTful API and API integration • Experience working with relational databases (such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) or NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB) • Experience with tools such as Git, Continuous Integration Pipelines, and Jira • Ability to work effectively in Agile teams • Strong problem-solving and communication skills Desirable skills (nice to have): • Experience with Full Stack, React and RxJS • Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS • Understanding of modern deployment practices (for example, container-based solutions) WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN:  • Opportunity to work on high-impact systems used globally • Exposure to modern technologies and platform modernization initiatives • A collaborative and inclusive work environment • Opportunities for career growth and technical leadership development • The chance to contribute to meaningful work that supports global financial markets We're proud to have been recognised as a Great Place to Work® in India ‘25.
