Lead Engineer Job requirements Experience Range: With at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce CPQ implementations and customizations, and up to 6 years including integration and migration projects Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop advanced Salesforce CPQ solutions, including custom scripts, quote templates, and approvals to address complex business requirements • Lead integration initiatives using REST, SOAP, and middleware platforms to connect Salesforce CPQ with external systems • Architect and optimize data models, ETL processes, and data mapping for legacy-to-SaaS migrations, ensuring data integrity and successful reconciliation • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers, promoting best practices in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow development • Configure and manage Service and Sales Cloud environments, including telephony and contact center integrations to enhance customer engagement • Oversee PII handling and cutover activities, ensuring compliance with data privacy standards during migration phases • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement middleware AI use cases, driving innovation in agentforce and prompt builder solutions Required Skills: • Salesforce CPQ configuration and customization • Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) development • Flow automation in Salesforce • Integration design and implementation using REST, SOAP, and middleware • Data-model design, ETL processes, and data mapping for SaaS migrations • Snowflake expertise • Unit testing and code review in Salesforce environments Preferred Skills: • Experience with Agentforce and Prompt Builder for AI-driven solutions • Knowledge of contact center and telephony platforms such as NICE, Aurora, and Khoros • Proficiency in Java for integration and middleware development • Understanding of PII handling and data privacy compliance • Experience with reconciliation and validation during migration cutover Desired Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist • Salesforce Platform Developer certification or Apttus CPQ certification
