Job description

As a Guide Procurement Project Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for managing and executing procurement projects, ensuring their successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline while driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment within the procurement function. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by guiding cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and implementing best practices to optimize procurement processes and achieve project objectives. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute procurement project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines - Lead crossfunctional teams to ensure successful project execution, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and delivery - Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project goals are met - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with business needs - Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and offerings - Manage supplier relationships, including conducting supplier performance evaluations and driving continuous improvement - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures throughout the procurement process - Monitor and control project costs, seek costsaving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation - Leverage technology solutions, such as procurement software and analytics, to enhance procurement processes, monitoring, and reporting YOU MUST HAVE - 4+ years of experience in procurement, project management, or a related role. - Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in procurement software and tools. WE VALUE - Master's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field. - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. - Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management. - Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends. - Strong thoughtful and data-driven decision-making skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
