You will play a key role in designing distributed systems, driving engineering excellence, mentoring team members, and delivering reliable software at scale.The ideal candidate is passionate about backend architecture, enjoys solving complex distributed systems challenges, and has strong hands-on expertise in Java and modern backend technologies. What You’ll Do • Design, develop, and maintain highly available, scalable backend services and distributed systems. • Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices that are secure, performant, and reliable. • Drive technical design discussions and influence architectural decisions across teams. • Build resilient systems capable of handling large-scale traffic and data volumes. • Develop solutions leveraging MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, and related backend technologies. • Debug and resolve complex production issues across distributed environments. • Improve system reliability, observability, performance, and operational excellence. • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, QA, SRE, and Security teams to deliver highquality solutions. • Conduct code reviews and champion engineering best practices. • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a strong engineering culture. • Participate in on-call rotations and drive root cause analysis for critical incidents. • Contribute to technical roadmaps and long-term platform evolution. What makes you qualified? • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. • 5-7 years of hands-on software development experience. • Strong programming skills in Java with deep understanding of core concepts, memory management, concurrency, and performance tuning. • Extensive experience building distributed systems and backend applications. Strong expertise in:  • REST APIs • Microservices Architecture • Event-driven systems • Distributed system design patterns Hands-on experience with:  • MongoDB • Kafka • Redis Strong understanding of:  • Scalability and high availability • Fault tolerance and resiliency patterns • Caching strategies • Data modeling and database design • Message-driven architectures • Experience troubleshooting complex production issues in distributed environments. • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. • Familiarity with CI/CD, GitOps, containerization, and cloud deployment (AWS preferred We focus on our mission: Sprinklr was founded in 2009 to solve a big problem: growing enterprise complexity that separated brands from their customers.
