Job description

Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Looker. • Build and optimize LookML models, views, explores, and dashboards. • Collaborate with business users to gather reporting and analytics requirements. • Translate business requirements into scalable data models and BI solutions. • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reports and dashboards. • Troubleshoot data quality issues and resolve reporting discrepancies. • Work closely with data engineering teams to understand data pipelines and warehouse structures. • Optimize Looker performance through efficient data modeling and query tuning. • Implement data governance, security, and access controls within Looker. • Create and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and development standards. • Support ad-hoc reporting and analytics requests from stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Analytics development. • Hands-on experience with Looker and LookML development. • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts. • Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as: • Google BigQuery • Snowflake • Amazon Redshift • Azure Synapse • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and dimensional modeling. • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and dashboard design principles. • Experience with Git/version control for LookML deployment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
