Job description

**Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced SAP AMS Solution Architect to design and deliver end-to-end Application Management Services (AMS) solutions for SAP landscapes, including SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales, presales, and delivery teams to develop scalable, cost-effective support models aligned with customer business objectives. This is a customer-facing leadership role requiring strong SAP AMS expertise, solution design capabilities, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management skills. **Key Responsibilities** **Solution Design & Architecture :** - Design end-to-end SAP AMS solutions for SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. - Develop scalable support models, governance frameworks, and service delivery strategies tailored to customer requirements. - Define SLAs, KPIs, escalation models, and operational processes to ensure high-quality service delivery. **Estimation & Sizing** - Prepare effort estimations, resource planning, and pricing models for AMS engagements. - Assess project scope, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies. - Ensure solution designs are commercially viable and aligned with customer expectations. **Customer Engagement** - Collaborate with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into effective AMS solutions. - Present solution proposals, service models, and value propositions during presales engagements. - Build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle. **Delivery Assurance & Transition Readiness** - Work closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth project transitions from implementation to AMS support. - Validate operational readiness, support processes, documentation, and governance before go-live. - Support knowledge transfer activities and ensure adherence to delivery standards. **Continuous Improvement & Innovation** - Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and service improvements. - Drive best practices across AMS engagements and contribute to organizational knowledge sharing. - Stay updated with SAP innovations and recommend improvements to enhance service quality. **Required Skills** - Strong experience designing and delivering SAP Application Management Services (AMS) solutions. - Broad functional and technical knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. - Experience with SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy. - Expertise in designing support models, SLAs, KPIs, governance frameworks, ticket management processes, and automation strategies. - Experience in presales, solution estimation, proposal creation, and commercial discussions. - Strong understanding of transition planning, delivery readiness, and operational support models. - Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills. - Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting tight timelines. **Preferred Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - SAP certifications in S/4HANA, SAP Solution Manager, or SAP Cloud ALM are an added advantage. - Experience working with global clients and large-scale enterprise SAP support engagements.
