**ONLY JULY JOINERS** Must-Have Skills: Technical Expertise: • Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, DB2. • Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and development practices. • Experience with batch processing and online transaction processing (OLTP). Communication Skills: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to handle client communication professionally and effectively. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams. Problem-Solving: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Work Environment: • This is completely work from office in client ODC and no remote working available. • This role may require work in flexible hours/shifts. Flexibility to work in different time zones to manage offshore teams and client communications Good-to-Have Skills: Rexx, DB2, Sas Your future duties and responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL, JCL, and VSAM/DB2 programs • handle VSAM files and DB2 queries • Create and modify batch jobs and online (CICS) programs • Understand requirements and insure programs meet business and functional requirements Client Communication: • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project updates, issues, and deliverables. • Communicate clear on status meetings and provide clear, concise reports to clients. • Manage client expectations and ensure customer satisfaction. Individual Contribution: • Develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS. • Good to have knowledge of DB2, SAS, REXX • Perform code reviews and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of applications. • Analyze and resolve technical issues promptly.
