Job Purpose The Manager – Electrical Design & Engineering will lead all electrical engineering activities for the 350 MW brownfield expansion unit. The role involves detailed engineering, system integration with existing units, electrical load planning, switchyard expansion, protection coordination, and ensuring seamless grid compliance without impacting ongoing plant operations. **ORGANISATION CHART** Reporting to Head Projec Engineering Key Accountabilities • Electrical Engineering Leadership • Brownfield Integration & Interface Management • Power System Design & Studies • Major Equipment Engineering • Switchyard & Grid Connectivity • Construction & Commissioning Support • Risk & Optimization KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Additional Details **EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS** **INTERNAL INTERACTIONS** **FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS** Other Dimensions **EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS** B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering Master’s Degree preferred Key Competencies: • ETAP / Power System Study software exposure • Knowledge of CEA regulations & grid standards • Protection relay coordination • Switchyard engineering (AIS/GIS) • HT/LT distribution system design Earthing & lightning protection design Relevant Experience • 10+ years in coal-based thermal power projects (300–500 MW preferred). • Experience in at least one full project lifecycle. • Exposure to brownfield expansion projects highly desirable.
