Role- Master Data Management (MDM) Event Tracker & Program Management Specialist Experience- 5 to 10 years Location- Chennai Shift- 4 pm to 1 AM IST Job function- Full time Qualification- Any Graduate Job role- • Create and maintain Event Trackers for assigned merchandising events. • Capture and validate item lists from STIBO , In/Out Lists, Merchants, and other source systems. • Ensure complete and accurate item information is captured before event initiation. • Monitor event milestones and readiness checkpoints throughout the event lifecycle. • Ensure all Event Trackers are initiated on time and updated regularly. • Monitor key readiness metrics, including Item Setup Completion, WIC Completion %, and PO Release Status. • Perform weekly analysis of Event Trackers and highlight trends, gaps, and required actions. • Perform item setup validation and root cause analysis; coordinate corrective actions with Merchants, MDM, Supply Chain, IT, and other stakeholders. • Develop and manage an integrated program plan covering scope, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, owners, and target dates across all assigned events. • Establish and lead a structured governance cadence, including status reviews, action tracking, decision logging, and clear follow-up with cross-functional stakeholders. • Maintain a RAID log for risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies; drive mitigation plans and escalate critical blockers with clear business impact and resolution options. • Coordinate dependencies across Merchandising, MDM, Supply Chain, IT, and external partners to ensure timely completion of item setup, readiness, and PO release activities. • Prepare concise program dashboards and executive status updates covering progress, KPI performance, key risks, decisions required, and recovery actions. • Drive issue resolution through structured problem solving, stakeholder alignment, ownership, and closure tracking. • Standardize tracker templates, governance practices, and reporting routines to improve execution consistency, visibility, and accountability. Must have skills- • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in a relevant role. • Advanced knowledge of retail, merchandising, item onboarding, and master data management processes. • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to create clear trackers, dashboards, status reports, and management summaries. • Advanced analytical skills to identify root causes, assess business impact, and recommend improvement strategies. • Program management skills to define scope, build integrated plans, manage milestones and dependencies, maintain RAID logs , and drive delivery against committed timelines. • Stakeholder management skills to lead cross-functional discussions, influence without direct authority, resolve conflicts, and maintain accountability across multiple teams. • Communication skills to translate detailed operational information into concise executive updates, decisions, risks, and action plans. • Strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple events, manage competing deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
