A Snapshot of Your Day! You will be team lead for the global detail design team for STC integrally geared compressors and hence responsible for order specific preparation of detail design of turbo compressor components. This role is not limited to specific skills in turbo compressors but extends to knowledge and experience in all domains of turbo machines and also important soft skills like open and trustworthy communication in an international environment. The position will be based in Pune, India, in the global challenging technical environment. One has to closely coordinate within the global team and monitor project KPIs like quality, project budget and on time delivery. How You’ll Make an Impact. • Lead of the global detail design team for STC integrally geared compressors upto 20 employees • Managing team activities, schedule and budget using JIRA • Securing SE process compliance, especially regarding all quality aspects • Continuous improvement of execution processes, especially regarding efficient use of NX, Teamcenter, SAP and JIRA • Identify and address deviations/issues in projects • Assuring knowledge of various applicable international codes and standards along with SE internal standards within the team • Performing detail self-review and peer review • Ensure quality and timely deliveries of engineering documentation • Initiate and guide troubleshooting activities, root cause analyses, and corrective as well as preventive action implementation • Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business What You Bring • Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or other comparable degree • More than 5 years of relevant engineering work experience • Team managing or team coordination experience and ability to manage people • Excellent communication skills and team player to support and serve the global team • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines • High flexibility in taking new tasks/responsibilities • Hands-on experience in working with Siemens NX and Teamcenter • Experience in creating detailed manufacturing drawing using GD&T as per ASME Y 14.5 • Proactive and solution oriented. Ability to pull inputs and interact with interface partners. • Knowledge on turbo machineries and their components will be added advantage About the Team Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector.
