LNT/M/1787592 - HYOW-L&T Energy-Offshore Wind Business - Chennai - Posted On 01 Jul 2026 - End Date 28 Dec 2026 - Required Experience 5 - 20 years ## **Skills** #### **Knowledge & Posting Location** Mechanical Design #### **Minimum Qualification** Bachelor of Technology (BTech) ## **Job Description** #### **Mechanical Engineering Leadership** - Lead end-to-end mechanical engineering activities for EPC, Offshore, Energy, Industrial, and Heavy Engineering projects. - Review and approve mechanical design calculations, equipment datasheets, specifications, and engineering deliverables. - Ensure compliance with client requirements, project specifications, and international codes and standards. - Provide technical guidance on static equipment, rotating equipment, packages, utilities, and mechanical systems. #### **Project Execution & Coordination** - Manage mechanical engineering deliverables to meet project schedules, quality standards, and budget requirements. - Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management teams. - Support fabrication, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. - Resolve critical technical issues and provide engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle. #### **Vendor & Client Management** - Lead technical bid evaluations, vendor assessments, and equipment procurement support. - Review and approve vendor documents, manufacturing records, and inspection reports. - Act as the key interface with clients, consultants, licensors, and certification agencies. - Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and progress review meetings.
