LNT/M/1787592 • HYOW-L&T Energy-Offshore Wind Business • Chennai • Posted On 01 Jul 2026 • End Date 28 Dec 2026 • Required Experience 5 - 20 years Skills Knowledge & Posting Location Mechanical Design Minimum Qualification Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Job Description Mechanical Engineering Leadership • Lead end-to-end mechanical engineering activities for EPC, Offshore, Energy, Industrial, and Heavy Engineering projects. • Review and approve mechanical design calculations, equipment datasheets, specifications, and engineering deliverables. • Ensure compliance with client requirements, project specifications, and international codes and standards. • Provide technical guidance on static equipment, rotating equipment, packages, utilities, and mechanical systems. Project Execution & Coordination • Manage mechanical engineering deliverables to meet project schedules, quality standards, and budget requirements. • Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management teams. • Support fabrication, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. • Resolve critical technical issues and provide engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle. Vendor & Client Management • Lead technical bid evaluations, vendor assessments, and equipment procurement support. • Review and approve vendor documents, manufacturing records, and inspection reports. • Act as the key interface with clients, consultants, licensors, and certification agencies. • Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and progress review meetings.
