Over 250K users at leading global financial institutions rely on our apps every day to run their field operations. We take full ownership to build secure, high-performance Android solutions from scratch. By solving tough engineering problems like offline data sync and battery efficiency, this team helps major enterprises boost sales productivity. You do not just execute tasks here; you actively shape a product that changes how businesses work. As a **Member of Technical Staff (Android)** , you solve a critical enterprise challenge: enabling Vymo to rapidly ship new capabilities to hundreds of thousands of daily banking and insurance users without compromising on speed or stability. **What you will do** - **Own the UX:** Turn wireframes into polished Android features. You use strong design acumen to ensure every interface is clean, precise, and highly intuitive. - **Optimise Performance:** Find and fix performance bugs and stability issues. You ensure the app stays fast, responsive, and reliable for thousands of enterprise users. - **Write Scalable Code:** Build features using clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. You use smart architecture patterns to keep the codebase healthy as we grow. - **Collaborate Cross-Functionally:** Partner closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams. You bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution to ship high-impact software. **What you will bring** **Experience & Fluency** - **Android Expertise:** 2+ years of experience building secure, enterprise-grade Android apps. - **Core Stack:** Strong skills in Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose. React Native is a plus. - **Architecture:** Fluent in MVVM, Clean Architecture, and choosing the right design patterns. - **Full Lifecycle:** Experience driving apps from initial code to App Store publishing. - **Data & APIs:** Expertise in RESTful APIs, JSON, and libraries like Retrofit or Axios. - **Services & Tracking:** Hands-on with Google Maps, push notifications, and analytics (Firebase, Segment). - **Tooling:** Strong skills in Git, app profiling, and debugging. **Mindset & Core Traits** - **High Agency:** Takes full ownership of tasks from concept to production. - **Design Acumen:** Intuitive eye for UX.
