Microsoft fabric data engineer

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer with strong expertise in modern cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with MS Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, SQL, PySpark, Python, Azure DevOps, and Data Cataloging tools. You will be responsible for designing scalable data architectures, building optimized data pipelines, and enabling enterprise analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows, Pipelines). • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Fabric Data Pipelines. • Build scalable big data solutions using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Python. • Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and performance-tuned transformations. • Work with Azure Synapse Analytics for data warehousing and advanced analytics. • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated deployments. • Develop Delta Lake-based Lakehouse architectures. • Implement data governance using Data Catalog / Microsoft Purview. • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance standards. • Optimize performance and cost management across Azure services. • Collaborate with BI teams to enable reporting and analytics use cases.
