**Job Title:** Network SME **Position:** Senior System Engineer / Lead Analyst **Experience:** 1214 Years **Location:** Bangalore **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **Network SME** with strong expertise in enterprise networking, routing, switching, and firewall technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex network environments while ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities** - Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Layer 2 & Layer 3 network infrastructure. - Implement and support VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, QoS, and Inter-VLAN Routing. - Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and Static Routing. - Administer enterprise firewalls (Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, FortiGate, Check Point, Juniper SRX). - Configure and maintain VPN solutions (IPSec, SSL VPN, Site-to-Site, Remote Access VPN). - Monitor network performance, perform incident management, and conduct root cause analysis (RCA). - Execute network changes, upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities. - Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and ensure compliance with security and operational standards. **Mandatory Skills** - Strong hands-on experience in Routing & Switching. - Expertise in OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, Static Routing, Route Redistribution. - Experience with Layer 2/Layer 3 Switching, VLANs, STP, RSTP, MSTP, EtherChannel/LACP, QoS. - Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls (Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, FortiGate, Check Point, Juniper SRX). - Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPv4/IPv6. - Experience with IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, Site-to-Site VPN, and Remote Access VPN. - Experience in network monitoring, incident management, change implementation, and RCA.
