Operations Excellence Manager

Job description

- Ensure standardisation and setting an internal benchmark by recommending and sharing best practices for various processes defined in the line of operations of a plant - Identify problems and significantly improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques to meet the industry standards - Understand the existing process and recommend the best practices adopted across the industry - Partner with business leaders and teams to design and implement large-scale changes in processes, culture and/or capability targeted in improving performance and results - Support change initiatives for functions (HR, Engineering, Operation, & Safety), with emphasis on implementation of lean workplace principles and practices to improve core processes across functions - Provide necessary training to respective functions for practicing and abiding to the guidelines of the organization and RCA tool:- Awareness , Audit & assessment - Fulfill all statutory and regulatory requirements and factory compliances related to one's function - Organise, conduct and manage the statutory and regulatory audits - Ensure that all the sites are having proper security infrastructure & resources to maintain the security of asset & people - Accountable for strengthening competencies of the team members by providing them with right development opportunities - Assess team's capability and develop a strong talent pipeline for succession - Identify training needs and key improvement areas and develop team by providing them the necessary training - Develop and promote a performance driven culture in which the teams are motivated to stretch their capabilities to obtain the desired results - Set annual objectives and monthly targets as per the business requirements - Drive improvement initiatives along with Division heads - Ensure the reliability reviews are properly coordinate and ensure the action plans for improving its performance are complete - Establish a safe, transparent and constructive culture that recognizes and rewards work and performance
