Oracle ASCP (VCP) & Demantra Consultant Job Description (10+ Years Experience) Position: Senior Oracle ASCP (VCP) & Demantra Functional Consultant Experience: 10+ Years Location: Flexible / Remote -Offshore Job Summary Seeking an experienced Oracle Value Chain Planning (VCP) Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) and Oracle Demantra Demand Management. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, supporting, optimizing, and enhancing Oracle Supply Chain Planning solutions across demand planning, forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP processes. Key Responsibilities Oracle ASCP (VCP) Lead end-to-end implementation and support of Oracle ASCP modules. Configure and maintain planning setups including: Planning methods Sourcing rules Assignment sets Bills of Resources ATP and Supply/Demand planning Design and optimize constrained and unconstrained planning processes. Analyze planning outputs, recommend inventory, and supply chain improvements. Work closely with manufacturing, procurement, inventory, and logistics teams. Perform collections troubleshooting and plan run performance tuning. Support supply planning, production planning, replenishment, and inventory strategies. Develop functional specifications for customizations, reports, and interfaces. . Oracle Demantra Implement and support Demantra Demand Management and Sales & Operations Planning. Design forecasting models and demand planning workflows. Configure: Worksheets Business models Forecast trees Series and levels Engine profiles Manage forecasting accuracy and demand sensing processes. Integrate Demantra with ASCP, Inventory, Order Management, and ERP modules. Support statistical forecasting and promotion planning activities. Troubleshoot demand planning and engine-related issues. Provide recommendations to improve forecast accuracy and planning efficiency. Required Skills Functional Expertise Oracle ASCP / Oracle Value Chain Planning (VCP) Oracle Demantra Demand Management Oracle Advanced Planning Collections Technical Knowledge SQL, PL/SQL Oracle Workflow Data Collections and Planning Data Loads Oracle EBS R12/R12.2 Planning Concepts Demand Planning Forecasting Supply Planning Capacity Planning Inventory Optimization MRP/MPS S&OP ATP/CTP Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Oracle VCP/ASCP certifications preferred. Experience with global supply chain implementations. Experience in manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, or high-tech industries.
