Oracle EPM / BI Consultant

Job description

We are looking for an experienced **Oracle EPM / BI Consultant** to support and enhance budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and management control applications within an Oracle ecosystem. The ideal candidate should combine strong business understanding with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to interact effectively with both Finance and IT stakeholders. **Business Skills** - Strong understanding of Finance, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Management Reporting processes. - Ability to analyze business requirements and propose functional and technical solutions. - Strong analytical mindset and troubleshooting capabilities. - Ability to support business users during budgeting cycles, forecasting exercises, and reporting activities. - Ability to investigate and identify root causes of data discrepancies. **Technical Skills (Mandatory)** **Oracle EPM / Hyperion** - Strong experience with Hyperion Planning (On-Premise and/or Cloud). - Good knowledge of Essbase administration and development. - Metadata and dimension management. - Business Rules and Calculation Scripts development. - Data loading processes and Smart View. **Oracle Data Integration** - Strong experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). - Development and maintenance of mappings, packages, variables, and scenarios. - Monitoring and troubleshooting of ODI data integration processes. **Reporting & Analytics** - Strong experience with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS). - Dashboard and reporting development. - Data analysis and reporting support. **Database** - Advanced SQL skills. - Strong PL/SQL development skills. - Oracle Database expertise. - Query optimization and performance tuning. **Main Responsibilities** - Support and maintain Oracle EPM and BI applications. - Analyze and resolve functional and technical issues. - Develop and enhance ODI integration processes. - Design and optimize SQL and PL/SQL components. - Develop and maintain Essbase calculation scripts and business rules. - Support Finance and Controlling users. - Contribute to reporting and analytics solutions within OAS. - Participate in enhancement and continuous improvement initiatives. **Profile** - Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle EPM / BI environments. - Proven experience with Hyperion Planning, Essbase, ODI, OAS, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL. - Strong communication skills and ability to work with business and technical teams. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Autonomous and proactive. **Key Skills** - Hyperion Planning & Essbase - Advanced SQL - ODI Expertise - OAS Reporting & Analytics - Strong Finance & Controlling Business Knowledge - Excellent Analytical & Troubleshooting Skill - Ability to bridge Business and IT teams
