About the Team You’ll work with our Product & Engineering team—a passionate group driven to solve complex problems and build products that have never been built before. Our Flexible Energy Stack brings together the E-Pack (battery pack) and E-Pump (charging station), working seamlessly to enable 15-minute rapid charging and redefine the future of energy and mobility. Our Philosophy: Break. Believe. Build. Break stuff. Break assumptions. Break the thumb rule. Believe in the team. Believe in the process. Believe through failures. Build fast. Build passionately. Build to simplify. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain component libraries — footprints and schematic symbols — with CIS database management for new and existing parts • Design and document complex printed circuit boards conforming to IPC and industry standards from schematics, parts lists, and functional requirements supplied by the electrical and mechanical design team. • Generate all documentation required for release and production of PCB designs and provide subsequent Manufacturing support.. • Establish PCB design standards, procedures, and guidelines, and assist with file maintenance and configuration control. • Review layouts against fabrication and assembly constraints, and resolve design-related engineering queries with EMS partners. • Managing bills of materials and component engineering inputs for ordering. Ideal candidate • OrCAD/Allegro: Full working knowledge and hands-on experience designing PCBs end-to-end on these tools. • eCAD library design: Building component libraries — footprints, symbols — with CIS database management • PCB layout & routing: Multilayer PCBs for high-power applications (>10A) and mid-frequency, impedance-matched communication protocols (up to 2 Mbps — CAN, SPI, I2C, UART) • Signal integrity & power integrity: Solid understanding of SI/PI principles and how they impact layout, stack-up, and routing decisions. • EMI/EMC design: Experience designing for electromagnetic interference and compatibility. • IPC standards: Design experience delivering IPC-qualified PCBs • Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong communication skills are essential to manage dependencies with the Sourcing and New Product Development (NPD) teams. • Working experience: 3 yrs to 5 yrs in the relevant domain • Btech/Mtech/ Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Good to Have • Understanding of the PCB assembly process at EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) partners. • Curious about applying AI-assisted tools to PCB routing and design automation. What Matters • Quality of work • Approach to problem-solving • Dissatisfaction with mediocre work • Resilient attitude to bounce back after failure
