**Work Location: Pune(Kharadi)** **Work from Office - 3 Days - Mandatory** **Role & responsibilities** - Build, maintain, and scale automated end-to-end (E2E) and integration tests using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript. - Monitor automated test executions in our CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and investigate test failures promptly. - Help transition manual test cases into reliable, maintainable automated scripts to improve testing velocity. **API & Integration Testing** - Execute comprehensive API testing for RESTful services using Playwright, Postman, or similar tooling. - Validate third-party payment gateway integrations (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Adyen) and test asynchronous processes like financial webhooks. - Verify complex data payloads, response status codes, and database state changes across various microservices. **Functional Testing** - Conduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing for complex billing scenarios, including subscription lifecycles, upgrades/downgrades, prorated billing, and refunds. - Ensure accurate calculations for taxes, multi-currency conversions, and invoicing generation. - Collaborate with Product Managers and developers during sprint planning to identify financial edge cases and define clear acceptance criteria. - Actively participate in reviews for test scripts to ensure high code quality and adherence to automation best practices. - Document bugs clearly with reproducible steps, expected vs. actual results, and relevant logs or network traces. - Work closely with the Engineering Leads to improve overall testing processes within the pod. **Required Skills** - 5+ years of QA with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in test automation. - Sound experience writing and maintaining UI and API automated tests using Playwright. - Experience with API testing using Postman and Rest Assured. - Experience testing payment gateways, UPI transactions, and billing platforms. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
