**Position Overview** We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Software Development to join our Global Markets IT team in Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our BROKK platform, which centralizes fee-rate cards, stores invoices, and performs invoice reconciliation. As we expand our platform to the U.S. market, we need a skilled professional to integrate and normalize data from disparate sources, design and build new functional modules, and create intuitive UI/UX using low-code tools. **Job Responsibilities** - Coordinate with Business Analysts to capture and refine requirements for new and existing modules - Design and implement PL/SQL packages, procedures, and data-quality rules to support reconciliation, accrual calculations, and workflow automation - Build scalable data-processing pipelines, ETL workflows, and analytics solutions using Python, Apache Airflow, and PySpark - Develop Oracle APEX screens and forms for fee-rate cards, invoices, and approval/workflow pages - Create Airflow DAGs, profile data jobs, optimize Oracle queries, and embed automated data-validation checks - Maintain all code in Git, perform pull-request reviews, and keep documentation up-to-date - Participate in sprint planning, release coordination, and retrospectives to meet delivery goals - Mentor and share expertise with other developers on the team - Contribute ideas for process optimization, tool enhancements, and best-practice adoption **Required Skills and Experience** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Minimum 7 years of IT experience with proven expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and Python development - Strong technical skills in Oracle (PL/SQL), Python (Airflow, PySpark), and Git - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail - Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams **Good to Have Skills and Experience** - Experience with Oracle APEX (low-code UI/UX) and Apache Airflow & Apache Spark (data orchestration & processing) - Oracle/APEX/AI/ML certified (optional certifications) - Experience with agile delivery methodologies and version control systems - Strong knowledge of data quality, data governance, and data security principles **About the Company** BNP Paribas is a leading European bank with a global presence, operating in 65 countries with nearly 185,000 employees.
