Role & responsibilities Portfolio Strategy: Identification, evaluation, and prioritization of new product opportunities aforementioned markets (Generics, 505(b)(2), first-to-market). Market Intelligence: Conduct competitive analysis, patent & exclusivity tracking, global market research using IQVIA and other relevant databases Data Analysis: Utilize intelligence tools (e.g., IQVIA, IPD, EXIM data, Global data, Evaluate etc) to analyze market trends, competitor analysis, and pricing strategies. Business Development: Support in-licensing/out-licensing initiatives, evaluate partnership opportunities, and support M&A due diligence. Financial Modelling: Prepare business cases with NPV, COGS, to support decision-making. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Regulatory, IP, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth execution of portfolio and BD projects. Global Market Expansion: Support portfolio growth across markets by identifying niche opportunities and strategic alliances. Preferred candidate profile Desired Skills & Competencies Strong expertise in Portfolio Management, Competitive Intelligence, and Business Analytics. Hands-on experience with market databases: IQVIA, IPD Analytics, Cortellis, Evaluate Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint for NPV/forecasting and MIS. Knowledge of patent litigation, regulatory pathways, and exclusivity strategies. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and drive cross-functional initiatives. Qualifications 3-8 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior exposure to Portfolio Management is a must. Masters in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences (M.Pharm) with relevant experience preferred. Bachelors in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) candidates with strong, relevant experience in Portfolio Management will also be considered.
