Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver meaningful business insights. - Build scalable semantic models and implement data visualization best practices to enhance reporting effectiveness. - Develop reusable reporting solutions that support business users across multiple functions. - Create advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and time intelligence solutions to address complex reporting requirements. - Design, optimize, and maintain efficient data models for high-performance analytics. - Write and optimize advanced SQL queries using joins, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), window functions, and other performance optimization techniques. - Prepare, transform, and integrate data using Power Query, dataflows, APIs, and multiple data sources. - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reporting and analytics platforms. - Optimize Power BI reports, datasets, and models for performance, scalability, and reliability. - Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) and support secure data access. - Deploy, monitor, and maintain reporting solutions across Development, Test, and Production environments using Power BI Service. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. - Provide production support and troubleshoot business-critical reports and dashboards. - Mentor junior team members and promote Power BI development standards and best practices. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to project delivery using JIRA. **Preferred candidate profile** - 7-9 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Power BI development. - Strong expertise in Power BI dashboard and report development with a focus on user-centric data visualization. - Proficient in DAX, data modeling, and implementing time intelligence calculations. - Advanced SQL skills with experience in writing and optimizing complex queries, CTEs, and window functions. - Hands-on experience with Power Query, dataflows, API integrations, and data transformation techniques. - Good understanding of Power BI Service administration, deployment pipelines, and Row-Level Security (RLS). - Experience working with large datasets and implementing report and data model performance optimization techniques. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret business requirements and deliver actionable insights. - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills. - Experience working in Agile development environments and using JIRA for project tracking. - Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. - Self-driven, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality reporting solutions within project timelines.
