Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. - Gather business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. - Create and maintain data models, relationships, measures, and calculated columns using DAX. - Develop and optimize Power Query transformations and ETL processes. - Connect Power BI to various data sources including SQL Server, Azure, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms. - Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance practices. - Monitor and optimize report performance, refresh schedules, and dataset management. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to understand reporting needs. - Troubleshoot data quality and performance issues. - Document BI solutions, data models, and reporting standards. - Provide user training and support for Power BI reports and dashboards. **Preferred Skills** Strong hands-on experience with: - Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service - DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) - Power Query (M Language) - Data Modeling and Star Schema concepts - SQL and database querying - Experience with ETL processes and data integration. - Understanding of data warehousing concepts. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
