Job description

Role & responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. • Gather business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. • Create and maintain data models, relationships, measures, and calculated columns using DAX. • Develop and optimize Power Query transformations and ETL processes. • Connect Power BI to various data sources including SQL Server, Azure, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms. • Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance practices. • Monitor and optimize report performance, refresh schedules, and dataset management. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to understand reporting needs. • Troubleshoot data quality and performance issues. • Document BI solutions, data models, and reporting standards. • Provide user training and support for Power BI reports and dashboards. Preferred Skills Strong hands-on experience with: • Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service • DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) • Power Query (M Language) • Data Modeling and Star Schema concepts • SQL and database querying • Experience with ETL processes and data integration. • Understanding of data warehousing concepts. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
