Junior Product Manager ? Clinical Documentation (Hospital EMR) Role Summary We?re hiring a Junior Product Manager to support the Clinical Documentation module of a Hospital EMR, covering physician/nursing notes, templates, forms, structured documentation, workflow usability, and terminology-aligned capture. You will partner with Engineering, Design, QA, Clinical SMEs, Implementation/CS, and Support to translate clinical needs into clear, build-ready requirements. This role suits someone with 2?4 years of product or product-focused BA experience and strong exposure to hospital workflows. Key Responsibilities • Capture/document requirements via light PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria • Map current vs future documentation workflows; identify friction/improvements • Maintain backlog with PM; support refinement, sprint planning, release readiness • Collaborate with clinicians, engineering, support, implementation, compliance/security • Support discovery through interviews, feedback synthesis, and competitive summaries • Coordinate UAT, defect tracking, go-live readiness, and post-release adoption checks • Define/support metrics: adoption, completion time, error rate, usage frequency • Produce deliverables such as workflow diagrams, UAT checklists, and release notes Must-have Qualifications • 2?4 years in Product, Associate Product, or product-focused BA roles • Demonstrable ownership of requirements, backlog grooming, and sprint support • Exposure to hospital EMR/EHR workflows, especially clinical documentation • Strong written/verbal communication; converts user needs into clear requirements Preferred Qualifications • MBBS, BDS, Physiotherapy, paramedical, Hospital Management, Health Informatics, or equivalent healthcare-domain experience • Strong candidates will not be excluded solely based on degree Required Skills • Agile delivery, Jira or similar, user stories/AC, prioritisation basics • Proficiency in using GenAI tools for product discovery, UX ideation, structured requirement generation, and rapid prototyping through context-aware prompting. • Understanding of notes, templates, structured vs free-text, and clinical workflows • Structured problem-solving, basic metrics analysis, crisp stakeholder communication Nice-to-have Skills • Exposure to HL7/FHIR, SNOMED/ICD/LOINC, CDS touchpoints • Clinician usability improvements, implementation rollout/change management • Prototyping Product Management, Hospital & Clinical Operations
