This Position reports to: Operations Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a production unit in Bangalore, ensuring the timely and cost-effective execution of production processes. You will be responsible for organizing and allocating resources to meet production targets while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, production schedules, procedures, and operational standards. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the effective resolution of production and equipment-related issues. The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite This role is contributing to the Automation in measurement & Analytics division in India. Main stakeholders are Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain and HR teams. You will be mainly accountable for: • Ensuring that production scheduling and production plans meet the required production volumes, agreed demand plans, and defined inventory service levels. • Recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary to support production efficiency and operational performance. • Identifying deficiencies in the production area, proposing improvement initiatives, and overseeing the implementation of actions to improve production performance. • Managing the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams, ensuring timely corrective actions. Qualifications for the role • You have 8–10 years of experience in production/manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role. • You have extensive experience in production supervision, production planning, scheduling, and meeting production targets in a manufacturing environment. • You have experience managing and coordinating production teams and resources, with the ability to effectively handle a team. • You have solid methodical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify production issues and carry out appropriate corrective and improvement actions. • You hold a Diploma or Engineering degree in a relevant engineering discipline. • You have effective communication and stakeholder-management skills and are comfortable working collaboratively with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and other internal teams. • You are comfortable communicating in English and are willing to work from Bangalore.
