- **End-to-End Project Delivery:** Lead the planning, execution, and deployment of in house technology projects, including integration with external content management systems, peer-review platforms, and digital publishing workflows. - **High-Impact Presentations:** Craft and deliver compelling presentations, roadmaps, and project pitches to align diverse audiences, from internal software developers to non-technical editorial stakeholders. - **Publishing Domain Alignment:** Apply a solid understanding of scientific publishing workflows to guide project requirements. **Agile Methodology:** Champion Agile/Scrum practices, leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure consistent, high-quality tech deliveries. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partner closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and editorial teams to translate business strategies into actionable technical specifications. - **Risk & Dependency Management:** Proactively identify project bottlenecks, manage scope creep, and mitigate risks to keep timelines on track and within budget. - **Data-Driven Reporting:** Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilize project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to generate clear, transparent status reports for leadership. - **Vendor & Partner Coordination:** Oversee relationships and deliverables with external technology vendors, publishing platform providers to ensure seamless systems integration. **Qualifications** - Proven experience managing complex technology projects. - **Preferably from the publishing domain, with strong understanding of editorial workflows and scientific publishing processes.** - Demonstrated expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - **Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsessential for client-facing responsibilities.** - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors effectively.
