Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements. Requirements Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior QA Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual and automation testing, excellent understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, and hands-on experience with Java and Selenium. The role requires someone who can take ownership of quality across the software development lifecycle, design comprehensive test scenarios, mentor a small QA team, and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Experience leveraging GenAI tools to improve testing efficiency and productivity is highly valued. Exp – 6 – 7 Yrs Required Skills & Experience Strong experience in Manual Testing and Software Quality Assurance. Hands-on experience with test automation using Java and Selenium. Strong knowledge of test case and test scenario design. Excellent ability to identify positive, negative, edge, and corner-case scenarios. Experience working with Jira for defect and project tracking. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with Git and Bitbucket. Practical knowledge of performance testing concepts and tools. Experience using GenAI/AI-assisted development and testing tools, such as: GitHub Copilot Claude ChatGPT or similar GenAI tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven experience leading or mentoring a small QA team. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed cross-functional teams. Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or similar. Good to Have Experience working with integration/iPaaS platforms such as: Workato Boomi MuleSoft Similar enterprise integration platforms Experience testing APIs and integrations. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines. Exposure to cloud platforms and modern software development practices. Experience testing complex end-to-end integration workflows. Job responsibilities Key Responsibilities Own and drive QA activities across the complete software development lifecycle. Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases. Build and maintain UI automation frameworks using Java and Selenium. Create detailed test scenarios covering: Positive scenarios Negative scenarios Edge and corner cases Boundary conditions Regression scenarios End-to-end business workflows Identify, document, track, and validate defects using Jira. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases. Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. Perform regression, integration, functional, system, and exploratory testing. Contribute to performance testing activities and identify potential performance bottlenecks. Use Git and Bitbucket for source code and test automation management. Leverage GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar tools to improve test-case generation, automation development, debugging, documentation, and overall QA productivity. Review requirements and acceptance criteria and proactively identify gaps, ambiguities, and potential quality risks. Lead and mentor a small QA team, providing technical guidance, reviewing work, and helping team members improve their testing and automation skills. Establish and promote QA best practices, standards, and processes within the team. Communicate testing status, risks, defects, and release readiness effectively to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams using tools such as Slack and other team collaboration platforms.
