Home / Current Openings / QA Engineer 3 QA Engineer 3 • Job Type : Full-Time • Chennai Job Description:- Detect Technologies is hiring a Senior QA Engineer to own quality across our automation, API, performance, and AI-powered testing efforts. This role designs and maintains scalable automation frameworks, validates AI-driven features, and partners closely with engineering and product teams throughout the SDLC. Responsibilities:- • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Python, Java, and Cucumber BDD. • Perform manual, functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, and end-to-end testing. • Create and execute API test suites using Postman. • Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing using BrowserStack. • Perform visual regression testing using Percy or equivalent tools. • Execute performance, load, stress, and endurance testing using JMeter. • Validate AI-powered features and build AI-assisted QA workflows to improve testing efficiency. • Perform database validation using PostgreSQL, pgAdmin, and DBeaver. • Participate in security testing activities including internal VAPT and coordination with external security teams. • Prepare test plans, test strategies, test cases, RTM, and QA reports. • Analyze business requirements and convert them into comprehensive test scenarios. • Work closely with developers, product owners, and clients during requirement discussions and defect triage. • Monitor product quality throughout the SDLC and recommend quality improvements. • Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews for automation scripts. • Support CI/CD-based automated test execution and continuous quality monitoring. • Work with Agile/Scrum teams and actively participate in sprint ceremonies. Requirements:- Automation: Selenium (Java & Python), Playwright, Cucumber BDD API Testing: Postman, REST API Validation Performance Testing: JMeter (load, stress, endurance testing) Testing Types: Functional, Automation, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, API, End-to-End, Cross-Browser, Compatibility, Mobile, Database, Performance, Stress, Visual Regression, AI Model Validation, UAT, Security Testing (VAPT) Tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, Postman, BrowserStack, JMeter, JIRA, GitLab, pgAdmin, DBeaver, Lighthouse, AWS (basic knowledge) Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or a related field Experience: 3+ years
