Job description

Role Overview: We are looking for a proactive and skilled QA Engineer (QA2) with strong hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of web and API-based applications by designing robust test cases, identifying defects, and maintaining automated test suites. Key Responsibilities: • Understand requirements and prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases. • Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing (both manual and automated). • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or Python. • Perform API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar. • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality. • Participate in defect triage meetings and provide root cause analysis. • Ensure timely and high-quality releases through continuous testing and feedback. Required Skills: • 6 Months to 3 years of overall experience in Quality Assurance with strong proficiency in manual and automation testing. • Solid hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python. • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing life cycle, and test management. • Experience in test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or similar. • Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools • Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured. • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. Nice to Have: • Exposure to performance or security testing. • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
