QA Engineer

Job description

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and implementing tests that prove the functional and non-functional requirements. You will need to contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle to identify and mitigate system malfunctions to meet quality standards. Responsibilities : • Test and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements and provide meaningful feedback • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools • Identify and create document thoroughly and track bugs • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing features to meet client needs • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements • Contribute debugging process results • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies • Helping BA's with right set of data for analysis Qualifications :- • Should be a Bachelors in Technology with 2+ years of professional experience • Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and processes • Knowledge of DBMS and SQL Queries is a must • Able to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases • Understanding of both white box and black box testing • Understanding in an Agile/Scrum development process Good to Have • Knowledge of automated testing tools • Basic grasp of performance and/or security testing is a plus • Fundamental working knowledge of Javascript and/or Python is a major plus Note: By submitting your application, you consent to being contacted by our Talent Acquisition team via phone call, email, SMS, WhatsApp, or other communication channels regarding your application and relevant career opportunities.
