Today, we are a global team of nearly 7,000 and our main objective is to create opportunities for our team members to explore, learn, and grow – all while seeing their ideas come to life and celebrating the differences that make us who we are and the work we do possible.   Job Description Role Overview We are looking for a QA Technical Consultant to actively contribute in Production QA initiatives for Windchill R&D, focusing on validating product quality using real-world datasets, customer workflows, and production-like environments. This role will contribute to driving a shift toward customer-centric testing to improve release quality and upgrade reliability. Key Responsibilities • Define and implement Production QA approaches and use-cases using real customer datasets and workflows• Enable testing with large-scale, representative data to uncover performance and scalability issues• Integrate customer UAT workflows into QA for regression, compatibility, and automation• Design and execute upgrade and migration testing using production-like environments and database rehosting• Prioritize and accelerate resolution of customer-driven defects• Drive performance and scale validation for complex data structures and enterprise use cases• Collaborate with engineering, product, and technical product owner teams to ensure release readiness• Capture and share production learnings and best practices across QA and engineering Required Qualifications • 9–11 years in PLM, with experience in QA or test solution roles• Strong expertise in PTC Windchill (PLM, CAD data, workflows, MPM)• Experience in upgrade testing, data migration, and enterprise environments• Proficiency in automation, performance testing, and data-driven validation• Strong ability to work with customer-like environments and real-world scenarios• Good technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills Nice to Have • Knowledge of cloud platforms and DevOps pipelines• Experience with large-scale enterprise customer environments         Life at PTC is about more than working with today’s most cutting-edge technologies to transform the physical world.
