**Purpose Statement** **To conduct LAB testing and inspection of samples received from the operations team and maintain records of analyzed data.** **ElementsKey Roles Responsibilities** **Operations Excellence** **Process Management** **Operations Training- Ensure that the required training is obtained viz., MSDS, LES and SOPs** **Operations Management- Coordinate with plant for inprocess results, sampling of raw material finished product** **Asset Management- Maintain in well manner the assets of the Lab** **Jobs Management- Supervise the work as per permit issue** **Defects Management- Do analysis of NC Products as per guidance of superior** **Quality Management- Facilitate sampling of raw materials finished goods to get a prescribed sample as per SOP** **- Check verify the quantity, bags, lot number, and physical appearance of materials as per SOP** **- Inspect and analyze samples in accordance with the quality plans and documented procedures within stipulated time** **- Maintain clean instruments ensure calibration standardization of measuring test equipment lab reagents etc. used for quality controls as per SOP** **- Maintain high standards of housekeeping safety in the laboratory during the work** **- Segregate the waste as per properties of the materials /chemicals** **- Maintain records for analyzed data and sample entry register etc.** **- Prepare COA for raw materials and finished products** **- Account for all QC activity in the absence of QC Officer** **- Inform communicate results to immediate seniors in case of any deviation or emergency** **- Maintain safe work practices by using the applicable PPEs** **- Participate in vendor audits** **Management of ChangeN/A** **Pre Startup Safety Review- Follow Up the startup procedure of lab instruments** **General Plant Condition- Maintain according to GPC Checklist** **Emergency Response and Control Planning- Respond according to planning and training in emergency** **Waste Management- Adhere to proper waste management procedure by safely storing and disposing of waste** **Behavior Based Safety- Ensure adherence to behaviour based safety** **RD Excellence** **RD Projects** **Laboratory Management** **Business Excellence** **Organization Management- Understand one's role and responsibility as per the organization structure clearly** **- Execute the tasks as per the defined Job descriptions** **System Management- Ensure implementation of elements as per guidelines** **Information Management- Ensure standardization of files generated in the system** **- Capture and analyse the relevant data to monitor and evaluate the the effectiveness of the systems** **Talent Acquisition- Support Managers to identify the right talent required as per business needs** **Competency Management- Contribute towards strengthening competencies of the team members by providing them with right development opportunities** **- Participate in competency development programs** **Learning and Development- Attend the planned trainings and understand the subject by asking timely questions** **- Provide shop floor training to the team members** **- Upgrade skill in self and subordinates by adopting new technologies, visiting exhibitions, participating in conferences etc.** **- Suggest ideas for improvements and initiative for better project performance** **- Encourage and motivate team to think and work towards the possibility of improvements in assigned projects / tasks** **Performance Management- Give inputs during performance reviews of maintenance operatives** **- Ensure the targets are achieved by working towards the set goals** **- Provide feedback on a regular basis to ensure timely guidance for optimum performance** **Total Rewards- Recommend ideas for rewards appreciations** **Administrative Excellence** **General Administration- Support the operative family to facilitate support services** **Personnel Administration- Support the operative family for any queries pertaining to attendance, leave, etc.** **Factory Compliance- Fulfill all statutory and regulatory requirements and factory compliances related to one's function** **Security- Ensure that the established security guidelines are followed within the function** **Internal External Relationship** **Function / AgencyPurpose of InteractionFrequency** **OperationsTo inspect samples and communicate resultsDaily** **DispatchTo communication regarding raw materials finished good reportsDaily** **Job specification** **Experience: 4 - 8 Years** **QualificationMsc Chemistry** **Certifications/TrainingsBasic Knowledge of Chemistry Computers** **Competencies** **BehaviouralTime Management , Accountability, Communication Skills, Concern for Quality, Teamwork** **Urgency, Consistency Reliability** **FunctionalMSDS, Basic Knowledge of chemistry, Material Handling, Standard Operating Procedures, Guiding Lab assistants for waste Disposal, emergency response wrt LAB** Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
