Position Details Job Title: Technical Lead Function/Department: Technology Location: Hyderabad Employment Type: Full-time Position Overview As a QE Lead, you will lead quality engineering for LINA Korea applications being established within CECI, bringing strong end-to-end testing expertise, technical leadership, and hands-on automation capability. You will define test strategy, drive test planning and execution, ensure robust QA artifacts, govern regression quality, and lead internal and external test teams across Agile delivery squads. The role requires deep knowledge of QA principles, JIRA-based story and defect management, API/Web/SQL testing, automation using Selenium with Java and Playwright with TypeScript, and the ability to embed agentic AI automation practices to improve test productivity, coverage, and delivery confidence. This role is ideal for a self-driven QE leader who can operate with ownership, manage stakeholders across markets, and build scalable quality practices for a greenfield Korea delivery partnership. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end quality engineering across assigned applications, ensuring test strategy, planning, execution, reporting, and release readiness are aligned to business priorities and delivery timelines • Define and govern QA processes, methodologies, test standards, test case design practices, defect lifecycle discipline, and quality metrics across Agile teams • Create, review, and maintain high-quality QA artifacts including test strategies, test plans, test scripts, defect reports, test execution summaries, and quality dashboards • Ensure regression test case standards are consistently followed and that regression suites remain reliable, relevant, reusable, and automation-ready • Lead Agile testing activities by working closely with product owners, scrum masters, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and test scope • Manage user stories, test tasks, defects, traceability, progress tracking, and reporting through JIRA or equivalent Agile delivery tools • Drive test execution across functional, integration, API, web, database, regression, smoke, sanity, and production validation cycles • Build and advance automation capability using Selenium with Java and Playwright with TypeScript, ensuring automation frameworks are scalable, maintainable, reusable, and integrated into delivery pipelines • Apply agentic AI automation practices where appropriate to accelerate test creation, test data preparation, defect analysis, script maintenance, regression optimization, and quality reporting, while maintaining human review and governance • Participate actively in walkthroughs, inspections, design reviews, user group meetings, release readiness reviews, and production implementations • Coordinate resources, manage day-to-day testing work, remove impediments, balance internal and external team capacity, and make practical decisions to protect delivery quality • Partner with technology, business, QA, DevOps, security, and market stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes are transparent, measurable, and aligned to implementation objectives Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline • 12+ years of experience in testing and quality engineering, with end-to-end knowledge of the testing lifecycle and strong technical leadership capability • Thorough knowledge of QA principles, testing methodologies, test strategy formulation, test planning, execution governance, defect management, and quality reporting • Strong experience creating and maintaining QA artefacts such as test scripts, test cases, defect reports, test summary reports, traceability matrices, and test metrics • Strong hands-on experience with JIRA for story handling, test task tracking, defect lifecycle management, reporting, and Agile delivery coordination • Solid experience working in Agile delivery models, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, story walkthroughs, acceptance criteria review, test estimation, and sprint-level quality management • Required testing background across API testing, web application testing, SQL/database validation, integration testing, regression testing, and production implementation support • Mandatory hands-on automation experience with Selenium using Java and Playwright using TypeScript, including framework development, automated regression coverage, reusable components, a
