Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Balurghat. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers by building strong, trust-based relationships and providing personalized banking solutions. Day-to-day activities include identifying customer needs, cross-selling and up-selling appropriate bank products, assisting with account opening, loan processing, and service requests, and ensuring timely resolution of customer queries and complaints. The role involves achieving assigned business targets, tracking customer transactions and portfolio performance, and maintaining accurate records in line with bank policies and compliance requirements. The Relationship Manager will collaborate with branch teams, operations, and product specialists to deliver a seamless customer experience and support the bank’s financial inclusion objectives. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong customer relationship management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse customer segments in semi-urban and rural markets. • Candidates should possess sales and business development skills, including the ability to identify opportunities, cross-sell products, and meet or exceed branch and individual targets. • Candidates should possess communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in clear verbal and written communication and the ability to explain banking products in a simple, customer-friendly manner. • Candidates should possess basic financial and analytical skills, including understanding of retail banking products, credit concepts, and the ability to interpret customer profiles and documentation. • Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, including accurate documentation, data entry, and adherence to regulatory, compliance, and KYC norms. • Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, business administration, or a related field are preferred; prior experience in banking, financial services, or customer-facing roles is an advantage. • Ability to work on-site in Balurghat, familiarity with local language and market, and readiness to travel locally for customer visits as required. • Proficiency in basic computer applications and digital banking platforms, along with a strong customer
