Role: SAP BTP Practice leader Location: PAN India - AnyTechM location in India Key Responsibilities Practice Leadership & Strategy • Define and execute the overall strategy for the SAP BTP practice, aligning with the company's broader objectives. • Develop a comprehensive portfolio of SAP BTP service offerings, including consulting, implementation, integration, and managed services. • Stay abreast of the latest SAP BTP innovations, roadmaps, and market trends to ensure the practice remains at the forefront. • Establish best practices, methodologies, and quality standards for SAP BTP project delivery. Business Development & Sales Enablement • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities for SAP BTP solutions. • Act as a subject matter expert in client presentations, workshops, and proposal development. • Develop compelling value propositions and go-to-market strategies for SAP BTP services. • Build and maintain strong relationships with SAP and key technology partners. Solution Architecture & Design • Lead the design and architecture of complex SAP BTP solutions, ensuring alignment with client business objectives, technical standards, and best practices. • Define technical specifications, integration strategies, data models, and security architectures for BTP-based applications and extensions. • Evaluate and recommend appropriate SAP BTP services and tools for specific use cases (e.g., Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Analytics Cloud, Process Automation, AI/ML services, Data & Analytics). • Create comprehensive architecture documentation, including solution blueprints, technical designs, and deployment models. • Technical Leadership & Implementation • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams during the implementation phase. • Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of SAP BTP solutions, ensuring high quality and adherence to architectural guidelines. Consulting & Client Engagement • Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and translate them into effective SAP BTP solutions. • Conduct workshops, present technical solutions, and articulate the value proposition of SAP BTP to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on SAP BTP capabilities, roadmaps, and architectural considerations. Innovation & Best Practices • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our SAP BTP methodologies, tools, and accelerators. • Drive innovation by exploring new SAP BTP capabilities and proposing their application to client challenges. • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the practice. Team Building & Management • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of SAP BTP architects, developers, and consultants. • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the practice. • Conduct performance reviews and provide career guidance to team members. Project Oversight & Delivery Excellence • Provide executive oversight and guidance on key SAP BTP projects, ensuring successful delivery, client satisfaction, and adherence to budget and timelines. • Act as an escalation point for project issues and provide strategic direction. • Ensure the quality of deliverables and adherence to architectural principles. Thought Leadership • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars. • Contribute to white papers, blogs, and other thought leadership content related to SAP BTP. Key Qualifications • 15+ years of experience in SAP consulting and implementation, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role focused on emerging SAP technologies. • Proven experience building and leading a practice or significant business unit focused on SAP BTP (or equivalent cloud platforms). • Deep understanding with various SAP BTP services (e.g., Integration Suite, Extensibility, Analytics Cloud, Process Automation, AI/ML services, Data & Analytics). • Critical Deep hands-on expertise and proven experience in designing and implementing solutions across multiple SAP BTP services, including: • Extensibility / BTP Development: CAP Model, Fiori/UI5 development, HANA Cloud, BAS. • Process Automation: Workflow Management, RPA • Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA (on-premises and cloud) and ECC landscapes, and how BTP integrates with them. • Strong understanding of cloud-native development principles, microservices, and API management. • Proficiency in programming languages relevant to SAP BTP (e.g., JavaScript, Node.js, Java, Python). • Demonstrated success in business development, sales support, and client relationship management. • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • SAP certifications in relevant BTP areas are a significant plus.
