Job description

We are looking for an SAP CAR POSDTA Consultant to configure, support and improve retail POS transaction processing. The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of POS data flow, validation, aggregation, monitoring and integration with SAP Retail or S/4HANA. Experience- 6 to 10 Location- Kolkata KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Configure and support SAP CAR POSDTA/POSDM processes for sales, returns, tenders, totals, inventory and financial transactions. • Manage POS inbound and outbound processing, PIPE tasks, aggregation, auditing, error handling and reprocessing. • Analyse production issues, identify root causes and deliver fixes within agreed timelines. • Work with SAP Retail, Finance, SD, MM, ABAP, integration and store/POS teams for end-to-end delivery. • Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts and support documentation. • Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, deployment and post-production activities. REQUIRED SKILLS • SAP CAR POSDTA/POSDM: Strong configuration and support experience. • POS Processing: Good knowledge of transaction validation, auditing, aggregation, monitoring and reprocessing. • Integration: Experience with IDocs, XML/NAXML or other POS interfaces and SAP Retail/S/4HANA integration. • Retail Knowledge: Understanding of store operations, retail master data, pricing, promotions, SD and MM processes. • Delivery Skills: Strong troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder communication skills. GOOD TO HAVE • Experience with SAP CAR OPPS/OPP, Retail Pricing, Promotions, OAA, DDF or Inventory Visibility. • Experience supporting high-volume retail POS transaction environments. • SAP CAR, SAP Retail or S/4HANA certification.
