Job description

An **SAP Function consultant** is responsible to understand business requirements and then transform them into a 'Business Process' in SAP. **Module :** **SAP MM** **Key Responsibilities of SAP Functional Consultants** - **Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering**: Understanding client's current processes, identifying gaps, and documenting detailed functional requirements. - **System Configuration & Design**: Configuring SAP MM module to support business processes, often using transaction codes / CBC and process flows - **Solution Development: Collaborating with ABAP developers** to create custom programs, reports, or tools when standard SAP functionality isn't enough (gap analysis). Design and test integration requirements. - **Testing & Quality Assurance**: Developing test plans (unit, integration, UAT) and executing tests to ensure the configured solution meets business needs. - **Training & Documentation**: Creating user manuals, process guidelines, and conducting training sessions for end-users. - **Support & Troubleshooting**: Managing support tickets, diagnosing issues, and providing ongoing system enhancements post-implementation. - **Stakeholder Communication**: Serving as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and management. **Job requirements and skills:** 1) **Education** : Min graduation. Post graduate degree is desirable 2) **Experience** : A total min experience of **10** years in an IT service/consulting company as SAP MM Functional Consultant. End user experience is not considered. 3) **Implementation Experience** : Minimum **Two** E2E implementation experience in **SAP S/4HANA** **Public / Private cloud** is required. Project experience in conversion to S/4HANA is preferred. 4) **Support Experience** : Minimum **Two** client AMS project experiences in an structured SLA framework is required in each of **SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA**. 5) **Other Project Experiences** : Working experiences in enhancements, rollouts, and migration projects is preferred. 6) **SAP Certification** : Valid SAP Certification in SAP MM functional module is desirable. 7) **Other SAP Modules** : Experiences in other SAP functional (WM, SD, FICO) and Technical modules (ABAP, FIORI/UI5) is desirable. 8) **Testing** : Exposure to automated testing methodologies / tools is desirable. 9) **Communication Skills** : Good communication skills in English are mandatory. 10) **Job location** : Bangaluru office ( WFO). 11) **Travel Readiness** : Should travel to Client locations on need basis.
