Job Description: Bioinformatics Analyst (2+ Years Experience)- C2 Role Overview We are looking for a highly motivated Bioinformatics Analyst with 2-5 years of experience to support genomic and multi-omics data analysis initiatives. The candidate will work closely with data scientists, biologists, and engineering teams to derive meaningful insights from complex biological datasets and contribute to cutting-edge healthcare and life sciences projects. Key Responsibilities • Perform analysis of genomic, transcriptomic, or multi-omics datasets • Develop and execute bioinformatics pipelines for data processing and analysis • Conduct quality control, preprocessing, and normalization of biological data • Interpret results and generate biological insights, reports, and visualizations • Work with large-scale datasets using Python/R and relevant bioinformatics tools • Support integration of bioinformatics workflows into data platforms and pipelines • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data science, clinical, product) • Maintain proper documentation of methods, pipelines, and findings • Stay updated with the latest tools, databases, and methodologies in bioinformatics Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor?s/Master?s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology, or related field • ~2 years of hands-on experience in bioinformatics analysis • Strong programming skills in Python and/or R • Experience with: • NGS data analysis (WGS/WES/RNA-seq) • Tools such as BWA, GATK, Bowtie, SAMtools, FastQC • Variant calling, gene expression analysis, pathway analysis • Familiarity with bioinformatics databases: • NCBI, Ensembl, UCSC Genome Browser, KEGG • Understanding of genomics/proteomics concepts • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments Good to Have (Preferred Skills) • Experience with Omics/ multi-omics integration (,genomics, proteomics, metabolomics) • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) • Exposure to machine learning in bioinformatics • Experience with workflow tools: • Nextflow, Snakemake, CWL • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) 1. Soft Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good communication skills for cross-team collaboration • Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently • Attention to detail and scientific rigor
