This person is expected to work with client teams on projects involving strategic planning, MLE, data collection, collation, analysis, report writing and making presentations. The Key Responsibilities of the role include:? - Plan, manage and execute a range of strategic planning exercises? - Responsible for project execution and delivery, providing monitoring and evaluation support, data collection, collation, research and analysis through extensive secondary or? primary research on multiple sources of data on an on-going basis.? - Database and repository management and updating it regularly? - Plan, make, write, edit, review and coordinate on monthly reports, presentations, dashboards, visualizations? - Collaborate with the leadership team to design the overall process for strategy development for monitoring and evaluation of programs? - Employ strategic tools to develop and assess options, ensure logical reasoning, and challenge assumptions? - Track latest developments, trends and keep up to date with literature, identify relevant and reliable sources of information, present data and findings succinctly to stakeholders? - Conduct desk, literature and systematic review. Ability to conduct meta analysis is also preferred - Collate reviewer comments, adjust content of documents and deliverables as required based on internal/external input, and prepare final versions.? - Exhibit flexibility in moving across development and preparation of multiple deliverables ? dashboards, presentations, technical briefs, research papers, abstracts etc.? - Conduct quality checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data included in documents; compare the document against source material and work with authoring team to resolve inconsistencies? - Provide project management and analytical support to other teams when needed? - Support the leadership as per team requirements **Skill set required** We are looking for people who enjoy the challenge of working on complex problems and collaboratively creating solutions that have the potential for transformational change in the development sectors spanning Nutrition, Family Planning, Maternal and Child Health, ICT, Financial Inclusion and Gender interventions in India. The candidate must be prepared to work across diverse range of issues/audiences in this field including academia, NGOs, government, corporates and private bodies. S/he will be a solid team player, with a demonstrated ability to work with flexibility, efficiency, and diplomacy in a fast-paced, challenging environment, use a hypothesis-driven approach and analytical rigor to develop sound strategies and implementation plans.? Professional experience at least 5 years with sufficient experience in social and economic research in India and globally.? - MA/MPhil (preferably from a US/UK University) in Public Health, Development Studies, Public Policy, Public Health and/or Development Economics.? - Relevant work experience or exposure to developing world?s issues in Public Health, Public Policy, Nutrition, Family Planning, Maternal and Child Health, ICT, Financial Inclusion and Gender, Immunization, Climate Change, Monitoring, Learning Evaluation. - Excellent research and writing skills. Exhibit flexibility in moving across development and preparation of multiple document types ? articles, posters, abstracts etc.? - Experience in India and/or South Asia is essential.? - Experience with sociodemographic databases datasets (NFHS, SRS, HMIS etc.) - Experience with strategy execution, measurement, review and adjustment is preferable.? - Experience in report and academic paper writing - Excellent oral, facilitation, and written communication skills.? - Strong quantitative knowledge with a demonstrated ability to extract appropriate data and synthesize insights from them to convey complex information through the use of supporting tables, graphs and other visual representations.
