Job description

Role Description: The CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) platform plays a critical role in enabling secure, scalable, and seamless identity services across enterprise applications, including authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, and compliance with global security standards. We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Automation Quality Engineer (QE) to play a key role in delivering high-quality CIAM solutions by driving automation efforts within agile teams. This role is primarily hands-on, with a strong focus on UI, API, and data testing, along with mentoring team members and strengthening quality engineering practices. Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities: • Drive automation strategy and implementation at the squad level • Actively contribute to hands-on automation development (UI, API, and data testing) • Design and develop scalable and maintainable test frameworks for UI, APIs, and microservices • Validate data flows and data integrity across services, APIs, and backend systems • Mentor and support QE engineers, promoting best practices and high-quality delivery • Implement contract testing and stubbing/mocking strategies for service validation • Collaborate with developers and product owners to define clear acceptance criteria and test strategies • Ensure high automation coverage, reliability, and maintainability • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast and consistent feedback • Support cloud-based testing and migration validation (AWS/Azure) • Contribute to observability and validation using Datadog and Splunk • Ensure quality delivery aligned with sprint and release timelines Essential Skills & Experience: • 7–10 years of experience in Quality Engineering and automation testing • Strong programming expertise in Python, Java, or TypeScript • Hands-on experience in UI & API automation (Selenium / Playwright, Pytest – mandatory) • Strong knowledge of data testing, including SQL, backend validation, and data integrity checks • Experience in API testing (REST, SOAP, Postman, contract testing) • Experience implementing stubbing/mocking or service virtualization (e.g., WireMock, Pact) • Experience building automation frameworks (BDD, data-driven, hybrid) • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) • Experience with Docker and basic Kubernetes concepts • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and exposure to migration testing • Experience with Datadog, Splunk for monitoring and log validation • Strong understanding of Agile testing practices and tools (Jira, TestRail) Desired Skills: • Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter / K6) • Exposure to CIAM or identity management systems • Experience with Allure reporting frameworks • Familiarity with SonarQube for code quality checks • Knowledge of LDAP and authentication protocols What you’ll get in return High-impact projects: We work on a variety of pioneering AI products and leverage extensive datasets to solve complex, high-value challenges.
