Role - Senior Consultant - AI Engineer (POC expert) Exp - 12+ Yrs Mode - Hybrid Location - Pune Joining time required - Immediate to 30 Days JD: We are seeking a **Senior AI Engineer** to **design and build rapid AI prototypes** that demonstrate technical feasibility and business value within time‑boxed innovation cycles. You will partner closely with the **Technical Architect** and **Product/POC Manager** to implement **model integration and prompt engineering** , while documenting findings and reusable patterns for future reuse and transition readiness. This is a **hands‑on senior IC role** oriented toward **POC execution and feasibility validation** —not long‑term production ownership. **1) Rapid POC Prototype Development (Feasibility + Value)** - Build functional POCs that validate AI approaches against well-defined business problems and success metrics. - Translate hypotheses into working prototypes quickly, balancing rigor with speed in short sprint cycles (typically 4–6 weeks). **2) GenAI / LLM Integration & Prompting** - Integrate LLM capabilities into prototype applications and workflows. - Apply prompt engineering techniques (structured prompts, few-shot patterns, guardrails) to improve reliability and demo readiness. - Partner with prompt engineering specialists where applicable; otherwise, own prompting as part of prototype delivery. **3) Agentic / Orchestrated Workflows (POC-grade)** - Implement multi-step AI workflows that chain model calls and/or tools (POC-grade orchestration). - Assemble reusable patterns (e.g., summarization, unstructured doc processing, routing workflows) that can be used beyond a single POC. **4) Engineering Teamwork & Demo Readiness** - Collaborate directly with Data Engineers, UI/UX Engineers, and Product/POC Managers to ensure prototypes are usable and decision-enabling. - Produce demo-ready outcomes that clearly communicate feasibility, limitations, and next steps to partners. **5) Documentation, Reuse & Transition Readiness** - Document findings, prompt patterns, design decisions, and constraints in a way that enables reuse across POCs and supports handoff to execution teams. - Contribute to the lab’s growing library of reusable AI patterns and prototype assets. **Technical Skills:** Bringing a bachelor’s or master’s degree - B.E. / B.Tech / M.S. / M.Tech / MCA degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related subject area 10+ years overall experience in software engineering, applied AI, data/analytics engineering, or related technical fields. 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience delivering GenAI/LLM-based solutions (prototype/MVP/POC experience strongly preferred). Shown ability to deliver in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
