Job requisition ID :: 107707 Date: Jul 10, 2026 Location: Kolkata Designation: Senior Consultant Entity: Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP **Job Description – Business Process Reengineering (BPR) Senior Consultant** **Position:** Senior Consultant **Experience:** 3–10 Years **Qualification:** Graduate (Any Discipline) / B.E./B.Tech / MBA **Location:** As per project requirements **Role Overview** The selected candidate will support Government transformation and e-Governance projects by conducting Business Process Reengineering (BPR) studies, documenting existing ("As-Is") processes, designing improved ("To-Be") processes, assessing technology adequacy, and recommending process and digital transformation initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct detailed **As-Is process study**, stakeholder consultations, and process mapping for Government departments and agencies. - Prepare **BPR reports**, process documentation, SOPs, workflows, and process improvement recommendations. - Design and document **To-Be processes** aligned with service delivery, efficiency, and governance objectives. - Assess existing technology landscape, applications, and digital infrastructure for **technology adequacy and gap analysis**. - Identify opportunities for automation, digitization, workflow optimization, and citizen-centric service improvements. - Support requirement gathering, business analysis, and preparation of functional specifications. - Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and validation sessions with Government officials and other stakeholders. - Develop presentations, reports, and implementation roadmaps for process transformation initiatives. - Support project management and change management activities as required. **Desired Skills** - Experience in **Business Process Reengineering (BPR), Business Analysis, Process Mapping, or Process Improvement** projects. - Knowledge of Government/e-Governance projects, digital transformation initiatives, or consulting assignments. - Familiarity with process modeling tools such as Visio, BPMN, or equivalent. - Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to prepare high-quality reports, frameworks, and presentations. **Preferred Experience** - Experience in State/Central Government, PSU, Digital Governance, or public sector consulting projects. - Exposure to technology assessment, enterprise transformation, or digital modernization initiatives. **Experience Range:** 3–10 years **Education:** Graduate / B.E./B.Tech / MBA from a recognized institution.
