**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** - Create BOMs and engineering documentation for configured products - Create GADs for configured products and work with automation teams to complete GADs for automated valves - Support Manufacturing Validation Testing on the shop floor - Meets project timelines for engineering documentation - Support Product Selection and Quoting team in part selection - Other responsibilities as assigned by management; job duties may change at any time with or without notice. **Who You Are:** You have strong mechanical engineering design fundamentals (static mechanics), with valve domain experience. Continually identifies opportunities to innovate and improve the process and product design. **For This Role, You Will Need:** - Minimum 6 to 8 years experience in relevant area - Min 3. years’ Experience in industrial valve design preferably in double offset high performance butterfly valves - Hands-on experience with design verification tools such as GD&T and engineering calculations - Experience in ERP tools like LN BaaN, SAP - Knowledge of international standards, such as ASME, API, EN, ISO (PED), BS valve standards - Hands on experience with design/certification standards like EN 12516, ASME B16.34, API 609, ISO15848, API 607 etc. - Must be well organized, detail oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. - Willingness to work outside traditional work hours to interact with supporting locations globally - Knowledge about automation tools, VBA, Power BI, AI bots - Excellent working experience in CAD software, such as Inventor, AutoCAD, Solidworks, Creo. Extensive working experience in Enovia. - Knowledge of Product certifications - Good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials used in valve industry. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess problems or issues on the shop floor. - Tech Savvy & Cultivates innovation. - Strong communication skills **Minimum Educational Requirements:** - Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline - English fluent – verbal and writing, any additional language is a plus **Minimum Work Experience Required:** - Min. of 6 years related experience with min. of 3 years in industrial valves - Experience in matrix organization with skip level reporting - Experience working with remote/global teams. **Desired Characteristics:** - Self-motivated and able to prioritize work and stay focused on overall objectives - Must be proactive, have positive attitude and high level of personal integrity - Assertive communicator - Tech Savvy & Cultivates innovation, embraces the opportunities of automation **Our Offer to You:** By joining Emerson, you will be given the opportunity to make a difference through the work you do.
