Overview We are looking for a Senior Developer with strong telecom domain exposure to design, build, and maintain high-quality software components across OSS/BSS, network automation, and digital platform engagements. This is a hands-on engineering role — you will own individual modules end-to-end, write clean and well-tested code, and provide technical guidance to junior developers, while working closely with the Technical Lead on design and delivery. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable software applications. • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions. • Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-tested code. • Review code and provide constructive feedback to ensure engineering best practices. • Troubleshoot complex production and application issues. • Participate in architecture and technical design discussions. • Mentor junior and mid-level developers. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and UI/UX. • Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and regression tests. • Contribute to CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and performance improvements. • Identify technical debt and recommend improvements to existing systems. • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend suitable tools and practices. Required Skills & Qualifications • CORE RESPONSIBILITIES • Design, build, and maintain features across the full stack: frontend (React/Next.js), backend (Node.js/Python), and data/API layers. • Integrate AI/ML capabilities into the product UI/UX - streaming LLM responses, agentic workflow visualisations, and intelligent data displays. • Build and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs; own the contract between frontend and backend within the squad. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for frontend and backend services; ensure code ships reliably to production. • Collaborate closely with UX/design to translate wireframes and prototypes into responsive, accessible, production-grade interfaces. • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; maintain high coverage across frontend components and backend services. • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning; contribute to shared platform libraries and design systems. • Support customer-facing demos and PoC builds by rapidly prototyping new features with production-quality code. Must-have Skills & Experience • Strong proficiency in modern frontend: React (hooks, context, concurrent mode), Next.js, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS or Tailwind. • Solid backend engineering in Node.js and/or Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask); REST and GraphQL API design and implementation. • Experience integrating LLM/AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) into product interfaces - streaming, function calling, embeddings. • Comfortable with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases; basic query optimisation and schema design. • Proficiency with Docker, cloud deployment (AWS / Azure / GCP), and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Vercel, or equivalent). • Familiarity with state management (Zustand, Redux Toolkit), component libraries, and responsive/accessible design principles. • Working knowledge of vector stores and RAG UI patterns - displaying retrieved context, citations, and confidence indicators. Requirements • Experience with real-time features: WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE), or streaming APIs for live AI output rendering. • Mobile development exposure: React Native or PWA patterns for cross-platform delivery. • Familiarity with observability tooling (Datadog, Sentry, OpenTelemetry) and frontend performance profiling. • Telecom domain awareness: BSS/OSS UI workflows, network operations dashboards, or OSS portal development. Preferred Qualifications • S. / M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. • Portfolio of shipped products or open-source contributions demonstrating full-stack breadth and AI/LLM integration. • Prior experience in a fast-paced product startup or digital transformation programme within a consulting or telco context.
