We're looking for an **Energy \& Carbon Specialist/Consultant** to help organizations move from ambition to action on their climate commitments. What you'll be doing: ♻️ **Energy Transformation \& Efficiency** * Conduct energy baselining and efficiency assessments across operations. * Evaluate renewable energy transition opportunities, including PPAs, EAs, and other clean energy procurement strategies. * Identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and accelerate sustainability outcomes. 📉**Decarbonization Strategy \& Net-Zero Roadmap** * Design decarbonization pathways aligned with organizational climate ambitions * Build emissions abatement portfolios and transition roadmaps supporting Net-Zero commitments * Contribute to SBTi-aligned strategies and submission requirements . ?**? Carbon Management \& GHG Accounting** * Lead or support GHG inventories across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol. * Develop carbon registries, emissions tracking frameworks, and carbon trading platform solutions. * Translate complex emissions data into actionable business insights. **🎯 SBTi \& Climate Performance Track**ing * Support SBTi target-setting and validation processes. * Develop KPIs, monitoring frameworks, and progress tracking mechanisms. * Help organizations measure, manage, and communicate climate performance effectively. **🔮 Climate Scenario Analysis \& Risk Assess**ment * Conduct climate scenario analysis using recognized frameworks (e.g., NGFS, IPCC, IEA) to evaluate physical and transition risks under different climate futures. * Assess climate-related financial and operational impacts, identifying key risks and opportunities across value chains. * Support TCFD/IFRS S2-aligned climate risk assessments and resilience testing. **🛣️ Climate Transition Planning** * Develop climate transition plans aligned with Net-Zero commitments, regulatory requirements, and long-term business strategy. * Define actionable transition pathways, milestones, governance structures, and investment priorities to achieve decarbonization targets. * Support integration of climate considerations into business planning, capital allocation, and operational decision-making. * Establish transition metrics, monitoring frameworks, and reporting mechanisms to track implementation progress. ***LOCATION - Pan***India
