**Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer SolidWorks** **Reference:** **SMART7521\\_HM** **Years of Experience: 4- 6 years** Role Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in SolidWorks and mechanical product design. The candidate will be responsible for creating CAD models and manufacturing drawings, performing engineering calculations, applying GD&T principles, and supporting product development activities in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks 2023/2025. - Create detailed component and assembly designs in accordance with engineering standards and customer requirements. - Apply GD&T principles and tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure manufacturability and product quality. - Perform basic engineering calculations related to mechanical design and product validation. - Support design reviews, engineering change requests, and product improvement initiatives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and project management. - Ensure design documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company standards. - Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, and technical discussions. - Drive tasks to completion with a strong focus on quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction. Must-Have Skills - Proficiency in SolidWorks 2023/2025. - Strong experience in 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing creation. - Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). - Experience in tolerance stack-up analysis. - Knowledge of basic mechanical engineering calculations. - Understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering drawing standards. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Good-to-Have Skills - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Knowledge of PLM/PDM systems. - Exposure to product development lifecycle and design validation activities. - Experience with design reviews and engineering change management.
